Chimayo Elementary School is rich in tradition and is known for its community involvement.  I am proud to be the principal of this school community.  At this unique small school, we have several very experience talented faculty. Some of our faculty are now teaching children of former students. Our staff is working hard to do their best to maintain the essence that makes Chimayo so special and at the same time, introduce new ideas and programs that are aimed at taking the school and its students into the 21st Century.  The world around us is changing very rapidly and the intimate knowledge of each our students helps us individualized learning as we prepare all of our students for a complex world, that is increasingly competitive and hyper-connected.
